Does eyebrow Microblading hurt?
Although the procedure can take upward of 2 hours, most people report only feeling minor pressure or discomfort and less pain than a typical tattoo due to the use of a numbing cream. Some level of pain or discomfort should be expected. If you’re considering microblading, be sure to properly research the provider.
Why Microblading is a bad idea?
The primary (and scariest) problem with microblading is that the procedure cuts the skin in order to deposit the pigment. Any time your skin is cut there is a serious risk of infection and scar tissue.

The effects of microblading last anywhere between 18 and 30 months. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you’ll need to go back to your practitioner for a touch-up application. Touch-ups can be necessary every six months or every year, depending on your skin type and preferred look.

Is Microblading worth the money?
For me, it was worth the money. I could have gone to a different technician and had it done for cheaper, but I researched a lot of microblading technicians and Alex was hands down the best. Her rates are fair, and you get what you pay for. I didn’t want to take a chance since it’s my face!
Does Microblading look bad at first?
The thickness and darkness of your new brows will begin to fade, even before your Touch-Up / Perfecting session. So do not be alarmed, this is usually VERY normal! Sometimes the shape of your brow may not compliment your face, or worse your brow artist may have made a mistake.
Does Microblading ruin your natural eyebrows?
In short, no. Although there are some considerations which we’ll get into more below, it doesn’t seem that semi-permanent brow procedures have any kind of lasting effect on the way your natural hair grows, even when it seems your entire brow needs to be reshaped.
Do I have to pluck my eyebrows after Microblading?
Daily Maintenance is Minimal Many women claim to not touch their brows at all in the months following the microblading, while some women still tweeze, pluck and fill their brows in after the procedure. Others may choose to routinely visit their technician to touch up their brows every six months for peak performance.
What is the alternative to Microblading?
Microblading, a semi permanent (up to two years) form of eyebrow tattoo to achieve a fuller brow, has proved a great way to streamline a makeup routine.

Much of the time is spent measuring and drawing on a symmetrical set of brows and agreeing on your perfect shape and color. The actual procedure itself takes 30min to an hour. The touch-up appointment will take about an hour.
Is it worth it to get your eyebrows Microbladed?
Yes, microblading is worth it. My eyebrows are perfect 100% of the time. Most people cannot tell I have my eyebrows microbladed, so they do not look unnatural in any way. In fact, the only people that guess I’ve had them done recognize it because they have theirs done too!
Who shouldn’t Microblading?
If you have any kind of skin condition on or near your eyebrows. This includes eczema, shingles, rashes, or anything else near eyebrows. Taking Blood Thinners such as: Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Coumadin etc.
Who is not a good candidate for Microblading?
If you have Fitzpatrick Skin type 1 (i.e., you are a redhead, have thin, translucent skin with light eyes), your skin is very likely to be hypersensitive and your skin will not be able to tolerate microblading well.
